iHeartRadio New Zealand presents Kelsea Ballerini

26 February 2016 - iHeartRadio New Zealand is excited to announce that hot new pop country artist Kelsea Ballerini is jetting down under for the first time ever to play an exclusive free gig on Thursday, March 3.

iHeartRadio NZ has secured the one night only event with Kelsea at The Tuning Fork in Auckland. This is likely to be the first and last time you will see the superstar in the making perform free of charge.

You have a chance to win tickets to this show by simply entering the competition at www.iheartradio.net.nz/competitions/win-tickets-to-kelsea-ballerini/ to go in the draw.

NZME Group Entertainment Director Dean Buchanan says, “Kelsea is seriously talented with a current number one hit on the charts in the states. She has the music industry buzzing and is tipped to be the next big thing. Kelsea even received shout outs from Taylor Swift, Little Big Town and Carrie Underwood and iHeartRadio NZ are delighted we can offer a free live concert to introduce her to Kiwi fans!

“The team at iHeartRadio NZ has its fingers on the music industry pulse and is passionate about presenting new talent to music lovers across the country. For those who can’t make the Auckland concert, check out Kelsea at www.iHeartRadio.co.nz.”

Bursting onto the scene last year, Kelsea has wasted no time becoming the first female in a decade to top the Billboard Country Airplay chart with Love Me Like You Mean It. From Tennessee, Kelsea started songwriting when she was 12 after her parents’ divorce. Moving to Nashville at 15, the gutsy singer isn’t afraid to tackle real life issues and emotions.

Kelsea was awarded the ‘Rising Star’ honor at the Billboard’s Woman in Music event in New York in late 2015 and is on the road to mega stardom.
