International 'Postcard’ Exhibition

International 'Postcard’ Exhibition

30th August - 17th September 2016

Kumeu Arts Centre has come up with an ingenious way of hosting an international art exhibition, without artists having to leave their home country!

They are calling for art work to be sent via traditional mail service which will then be exhibited in the arts centre gallery later in the year.

Exhibitors are able to download a template from http://www.kumeuartscentre.co.nz/exhibition-entry-forms.html. Template can then be printed anywhere in the world, and artists are able to paint, print, draw or use any medium they choose to create a masterpiece on the front of the postcard. Alternatively art work can be pasted to the template. A basic registration is required on the website, to track how many entries may be coming and where in the world they are coming from.

Kumeu Arts Centre needs your help in spreading the word and they hope for their message to go viral, leading to an exhibition that spans all continents. Entry is open to all artists of all ages and nationalities and abilities.

Postcard entries must be received by Monday the 22nd August 2016 and can be posted to:

Kumeu Arts Centre, PO Box 342, Kumeu, 0841, Auckland, New Zealand
