G.J. Gardner Backs Kiwis, Ferns
for Tests
New Zealand Rugby League is proud to welcome G.J.Gardner Homes to its family of sponsors for next week’s trans-Tasman test against Australia in Newcastle.
Already a dedicated backer of many worthy causes, including other national sporting teams, New Zealand’s Most Trusted home builder will feature on back of the NZ Kiwis and Kiwi Ferns jerseys during the test campaign.
“We love supporting sport at all levels and especially trans-Tasman clashes against our good Australian friends,” says managing director Grant Porteous. “The Kiwis v Kangaroos - it doesn’t get any better than that.
“So when the opportunity came to throw our support behind the Kiwis in this massive challenge, the team at G.J Gardner’s jumped in, boots and all.”
G.J.Gardner Homes and NZ Rugby League share very similar philosophies on caring for their communities.
Through sponsorships of Ronald McDonald House, Westpac Rescue Helicopter, World Vision, The Salvation Army and Big Buddy, G.J.Gardner has shown that it’s much more than just a construction company.
“We’re thrilled to have such a well-known and reputable company join our family of sponsors,” says NZRL acting commercial manager Philippa Ivory. “We especially appreciate their support of the Kiwi Ferns and elite women’s sport.”
The Kiwi Ferns take on the Australia Jillaroos at 7.25pm NZ next Friday (May 6), followed by the Kiwis v Kangaroos at 9.50pm NZ.
