Hunt is on for Kiwi kids looking to land dream job

Retiring Toy Testers Manaia McCaul (7) and Abbey Scott (10) review toys for The Warehouse.

The Warehouse’s nationwide search for two new Toy Testers kicks off today, with two lucky kids set to embark on the role of a lifetime; keeping Kiwi kids up to date with the newest and coolest toys before they hit the shelves.

Celebrating the launch of its Great Annual Toy Sale, The Warehouse is inviting aspiring Toy Testers aged 5 to 10 – to show the country what they’ve got in a bid to land the coveted roles.

The Warehouse CEO Simon Turner, says Toy Testers fulfil a special role for The Warehouse.

“We recognise that when it comes to knowing what toys children are going to like, its kids themselves who are the experts.

“It’s clear children take their toys very seriously and our testers can be a great source of inspiration for customers who aren’t sure what to buy,” says Turner.

Keen contenders are invited to upload a short video clip to www.thewarehouse.co.nz/toytesters, demonstrating with their toys how they would make the ultimate Toy Tester.

The Warehouse will carefully select two finalists to embark on the roles; which includes testing toys for upcoming launches and being a part of key campaigns including Christmas.
