Two Great Ways for Fans to See the Block NZ Houses for 2016
Block-a-holics rejoice. The chance to visit The Block NZ finished houses for 2016 is near. MediaWorks TEG Live is delighted to announce once again there are two great ways for fans to get a peek inside the finished townhouses for 2016 – the popular free Open Homes event and the ticketed Exclusive Preview Tours.
The Block NZ Open Homes are back – and of course, are still free to the public. The event, which will give fans the chance to walk through the houses in the Auckland community of Meadowbank, will be held on Saturday 6th August from 9am – 3pm.
Competing teams Niki and Tiff, Emma and Courtney, Sam and Emmett and Dyls and Dylz will all be on-site at the Open Homes event as their houses are inspected, and the producers of The Block NZ will be filming for the series' final episodes. There’ll be plenty of onsite entertainment, including sponsor giveaways, food and coffee, and if you’re lucky, you’ll even get to meet your favourite team and grab a selfie.
The success of the Open Homes is due to the patience and goodwill of the neighbourhood, road users and fans. This year TV3 has again worked with Auckland Council and other stakeholders to ensure the open homes take place with minimum disruption.
For those wanting the chance to see the houses first, have access to all areas, beat the crowds and avoid the queues, the ticketed The Block NZ Exclusive Preview Tours are back. A number of house tour experiences hosted by site foreman Peter Wolfkamp will be held on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of July between 10am and 4pm. Limited numbers of tickets for the Exclusive Preview Tours are available now from http://premier.ticketek.co.nz/shows/show.aspx?sh=THEBLOCK16.
