Auckland Live is delighted to announce that Dame Kiri Te Kanawa will return to the ASB Theatre on Thursday, 13 October with an intimate recital, following her sold out concert in 2014 and a hugely successful nationwide tour earlier this year.
The recital will be a unique opportunity to see one of the world’s greatest opera singers live in concert.
Dame Kiri will be accompanied by one of New Zealand’s finest musicians, the internationally acclaimed pianist Terence Dennis. The repertoire will feature a programme of romantic songs and arias that will delight music lovers, including pieces from Mozart, Handel, Vivaldi, Puccini, Heggie and Canteloube, as well as a selection of traditional folk songs.
