Auckland Armageddon Expo Returns with Awesomenessness

New Zealand’s biggest pulp culture event, Armageddon Expo returns to Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds in October over Labour Weekend for it’s massive annual 4 day event.

Headlining the labour weekend event is Back to the Future and Who Framed Roger Rabbit star CHRISTOPHER LLOYD, making his first appearance as an Armageddon guest. “We are delighted that Christopher Lloyd is joining us and that his kiwi fans can meet him and hear about his experiences, " says organiser Bill Geradts.

Also headlining the event are JAMES AND OLIVER PHELPS, also known as Fred and George Weasley from the Harry Potter films.

Lloyd and the Phelps twins head an amazing line-up of international guests, including KAREN FUKUHARA (Katana from Suicide Squad), JEWEL STAITE (Firefly, Stargate Atlantis), NICHELLE NICHOLS (Star Trek), ALONA TAL (Supernatural, Veronica Mars), TRAVIS AARON WADE (Supernatural), GIDEON EMERY (Teen Wolf, Daredevil), TAMMIN SURSOK (Pretty Little Liars), DOMINIC CARTER (Game of Thrones), BRAIN O’HALLORAN (Clerks, Clerks II), DAVID NAUGHTON (An American Werewolf in London) and SARAH DOUGLAS (Superman II, Conan the Destroyer).

Armageddon Expo is also a beacon for cosplay and fun, which is why two international cosplayers, VAMPY BIT ME and VARIABLE, will be attending the Auckland event. Also if your taste runs to comedy, YouTube’s THE HILLYWOOD SHOW comedy sister duo, Hilly and Hannah Hindi, are bringing their parodies of blockbuster films and TV shows to the event.

No Armageddon show is complete without its animation and comic book stars, and comic book artists WHILCE PORTACIO (The Punisher), LARRY HAMA (GI Joe: A Real American Hero), RICHARD FAIRGRAY (Blastosaurus), and animation voice actors LINDA LARKIN (Princess Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin), ERICA MENDEZ (Kill La Kill), LUCIEN DODGE (Fate/Zero) and TONY OLIVER (Naruto) are looking forward to bringing their many talents and personal stories to share with fans.

Also attending Auckland Armageddon is the creator of the widely aclaimed anime Macross SHOJI KAWAMORI, and NASA Astronaut COL. RICK SEARFOSS.

This is the final Armageddon for 2016 and is sure to be a massive weekend full of fun, cosplay, wrestling, massive gaming displays, anime and so much more awesomenessness.
