Henry Auction Raises Money for Kaikoura, Jono And Ben Wrap
up on the Rock, & TV3 Ratings Successes
The auction for the autographed Paul Henry set Lego model closed this morning, raising $3,210 for the Red Cross Kaikoura appeal. With Paul Henry wrapping up on Friday 16 December 2016, the auction gave fans a chance to own a piece of signed memorabilia from this much-loved programme. The team were glad to be able to leave someone with a lasting memory of the show and raise money for Kaikoura.
Jono and Ben had their final drive show on The Rock on Wednesday. For Jono Pryor this is the end of an era, having worked for the station for over 15 years.
During their final voice break, Jono said “I literally came here as a boy, and I’ve grown into a weird, strange, bald man.”
The pair are looking forward to joining Sharyn Casey on The Edge’s drive show in the new year.
TV3’s strong Tuesday evening line-up was led by Zumbo’s Just Desserts and the Chicago P.D. crossover episode with SVU both winning their timeslots in all four key audience demographics (18-39, 18-49, 25-54 and Household Shoppers with Kids).
Friday night comedy on TV3 continues its solid run, with The Graham Norton Show and Live At The Apollo winning their timeslots in the key target demographic (25-54).
The successful 7 Days Live tour continues this week, with shows in Dunedin, Timaru and Christchurch.
