Zac Franich Looking for Love as the New Zealand Bachelor
Zac Franich Looking for Love as the New Zealand Bachelor in 2017
MediaWorks is delighted to announce that
Zac Franich will be joining the family as their leading man
in the highly anticipated third series of The Bachelor New
Zealand, coming soon to Three.
Hailing from the Hibiscus Coast, 28 year old Franich is no stranger to a high pressure environment having represented New Zealand competing at an international level in the sport of sprint kayaking. As well as being a qualified life guard, Franich recently completed a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation through AUT, and works in Sports Management – delivering a sports program at Orewa Surf Life Saving Club.
The modest and endearing bachelor, who describes himself as a “laid-back Kiwi bloke”, is ready to embrace this new opportunity.
“I’ve always stood by the fact that life should be an adventure and you should take every opportunity you’re given. When someone offers you the chance to meet beautiful and interesting women, travel the world, and hopefully find love at the end – it was a no brainer.”
MediaWorks Head Of Commissioning and External Production Sue Woodfield says:
“Zac was chosen because he ticks all the boxes: He’s handsome, sporty and accomplished, a real kiwi guy with a great sense humour He’s the boy next door that you’d take home to meet the parents and most importantly – he’s genuinely looking to meet someone special. We wish him all the best in his quest for love.”
When asked what he’s looking for, Franich is open minded in the search for his ideal woman:
“I really don’t have a type; every woman has something special about them. I don’t want to go into this experience with a list of must-haves. I’m keeping an open mind and hope to find that spark with someone who shares some of my passions for travel, adventure, the ability to laugh and have fun.”
The first season of The Bachelor New Zealand resulted in a fairy-tale ending for Bachelor Art Green and Bachelorette Matilda Rice. The second season showed that the journey to find love is not without its challenges. With his turn fast approaching, will Zac meet the woman of his dreams?
The highly anticipated third season of The Bachelor New Zealand has a great team of sponsors behind it. Colgate Optic White is proud to be on board as the broadcast sponsor along with programme partners Arnott’s Tim Tam, Hallenstein Brothers, Pita Pit and Suzuki.
