2017 WOW Show tickets on sale from 1 March

After another sell-out season in 2016, people wanting to attend this year’s spectacular World of WearableArt Show in Wellington are urged to get in quick when tickets go on sale from 1 March.

The 2017 show season runs from Thursday 21 September to Sunday 8 October, when WOW will take over New Zealand’s vibrant capital city in an explosion of creativity and fun. The three-week season of 15 not-to-be-missed shows is expected to attract more than 58,000 showgoers from around the world.

Uniquely themed and produced every year, the WOW Show is New Zealand’s largest and most technically challenging theatrical production, brought to life by around 350 cast and crew. The Show centres around the top garments from the international WOW competition entered by designers who come from more than 40 countries.

The World of WOW is alive 12-months of the year, and includes the annual WOW Show and year-round exhibitions at the National WOW Museum in Nelson and a travelling international exhibition, currently in North America.
