Paralympian gold medallist and world record holder Mary Fisher to break another record
Paralympian gold
medallist and world record holder Mary Fisher will attempt
to break another record tomorrow, at the Royal Easter Show.
She will be trying to break the 29-second record for
pedal-powered sheep shearing.
If Mary is successful in breaking the record, the shearing team will celebrate by the "shearing" the head of a long-haired farmhand.
The attempt will take place tomorrow at 11.30am and media are invited to attend. Please enter the ASB Showgrounds through Gate 1 on Greenlane Rd and identify yourself as media to security.
Tomorrow is the last of the 2017 Royal Easter Show, New Zealand's largest free to attend family-friendly event.
The show, which is open from 10am until 10pm, includes free daily performances from Timber Tina’s “Chics with Axes” and Sesame Street’s Elmo and Friends Live Show, as well as the always-popular carnival rides and sideshows
