Match Notes
- When the sides last met in Round 10, the Mystics defeated the Pulse 64-53 at the North Shore Events Centre in Auckland.

- The Pulse won the first two meetings between the sides 55-56 in Round 1 in Hamilton and 47-43 in Round 5 in Wellington, while the Mystics won the third meeting 64-53 in Auckland.

- The Mystics and Pulse met 18 times in the former Trans-Tasman Netball League with the Mystics winning 14, the Pulse three and there was one draw.

- The Mystics finished the regular season in third place with a record of eight wins and seven losses and will play Finals for the fifth time in their history. The Mystics made the Finals four times in the former Trans-Tasman Netball League (2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016).

- The Pulse ended the regular season with a record of nine wins and six losses to finish in second place and gain hosting rights for the Elimination Final.

- The Pulse secured a place in the Elimination Final with their win over the Northern Stars in Porirua in Round 12, their first Finals appearance in the Club’s 10-year history.

- The Pulse’s nine regular season wins is a Club record bettering their eight wins in the 2013 former Trans-Tasman Netball League. That year they finished the season in 5th place also their previous highest finish.

- The Pulse has the best defensive record in the ANZ Premiership after 13 rounds, conceding 50.4 goals per match while the Mystics have the second best attacking record (behind the Steel 70.8) with 58.5 goals per match.

- The winner of the Elimination Final will progress through to the Grand Final on Wednesday 28 Juneat ILT Stadium Southland, Invercargill. They will face the Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel.
