Pacific Dance Choreographic Lab - Call Out 2017

Pacific Dance Choreographic Lab - Call Out 2017

Call-out Pacific Choreolab 2017

The Pacific Dance Choreographic Lab (Choreolab) 2017 is back and calling for 'Expressions of Interest' from Pacific Dance Artists wishing to work in co-lab to develop new, fresh and inspiring creative dance works.

The Pacific Dance Choreographic Lab was established in 2009 as part of the Pacific Dance Fono and became a separate laboratory work space for Pacific dance creatives in 2010.

Since then it has been run annually and seen 25 Pacific dance creative artists (choreographers) develop 25 totally new Pacific dance works in the course of the past eight years.

Pacific Dance NZ (PDNZ) is looking for our next dance exponents to take on the challenge and have the opportunity to develop and show their work with support and mentoring from PDNZ.

Past mentors have included - Neil Ieremia (Black Grace), Nina Nawalowalo (The Conch), and PDNZ's own Iosefa Enari to name a few.

This opportunity is not only one for choreographers but also offers dancers the opportunity to work in creative space with the selected choreographers and PDNZ encourages dancers who wish to participate to make enquiry to the contact details below.

Closing Date: Monday, 4th September, 5pm
Send to: auckland@pacificdance.co.nz
Phone for enquiries: +64 9 376 00 60
