Alanis Morissette and Company concert Sells Out
Second George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Alanis Morissette and Colin Hay of Men At Work fame concert Sells Out
Record ticket demand has continued for the upcoming Summer Concert Tour with all 18,000 tickets for the Queenstown concert being snapped up. The Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert sell out comes on the back of the Taupo Summer Concert sell out just days ago and less than two weeks after the 2018 Summer Concert Tour line up was announced.
With two of the three concerts in the tour now sold out, promoters Greenstone Entertainment are encouraging everyone who haven’t already bought a ticket to see George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Alanis Morissette and Colin Hay of Men At Work fame, to secure their ticket for the Whitianga Summer Concert on Saturday the 28th of January before they too are gone.
Demand for
the Whitianga Summer Concert (the final show in the three
date tour) has already surpassed last year’s ticket sales
for the same period and is heading for another sell-out as
well. Coinciding with Auckland Anniversary Weekend
organisers say it’s the perfect opportunity to make a
weekend break of it on the Coromandel - one of New
Zealand’s favourite holiday locations.
Greenstone
Entertainment CEO, Amanda Calvert comments “Our
philosophy has always been to provide great value for money
so our fans can experience some of the best artists and
music that the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s has to offer.
Ticket prices for the remaining Whitianga Summer Concert are
only $99, we offer free entry to kids 14 and under with an
accompanying adult, and concert goers can bring along their
own food and non-alcoholic beverages. We’ll again have bus
transport options available as well, making it easy to get
to and from the venue. The three legendary acts performing
next year have a huge list of hit songs which will be sure
to have everyone on their feet in January.”
Tickets
for the Whitianga Summer Concert and can be purchased
through www.greenstoneentertainment.co.nz or www.ticketek.co.nz for $99 plus booking
fee.

George Thorogood & The
Destroyers
New Zealanders have a passion for the
amped-up blues rock legends that are George Thorogood & The
Destroyers. It will be seven years since George Thorogood &
The Destroyers last performed in New Zealand. This is a rare
opportunity to see them perform alongside two other great
iconic artists and may be the only time to catch these
particular acts together. Their 20 albums, 14 of which have
spent a massive 150 weeks in the New Zealand charts, include
six gold and two platinum discs, and have sold over 15
million copies worldwide. The band have amassed a huge

Haircut” and the ultimate rock anthem,
“Bad To The Bone.”
