Three Wins Second Month in a Row in 25-54, Married at First Sight NZ Premieres
Three has won its second month in a row in 25-54 with a 23.6% share for September 2017 and is currently tracking on a 20.2% share year-to-date. This is the first time Three has won back-to-back months in the commercially important 25-54 demographic since August-September 2009.
Married at First Sight NZ premiered last night with a 7.9 rating and 22.7% audience share. The series will continue tonight at 7.30pm on Three and ThreeNOW with aSunday-Monday format.
Andrew Szusterman, MediaWorks’ Chief Content Officer said: "This is a really positive result with launch numbers similar to those for The Block and we expect the audience to continue building throughout the season with the Sunday-Mondayformat. I'm certainly looking forward to what tonight's episode and the rest of the season brings!"
Rounding out the performance from last week, Three also won the night on Tuesday(25-54), Friday (25-54) and Saturday (all four demographics).
Tuesday evening saw timeslot wins from Lost & Found* (25-54, 18-49, HHS) andKiller Women with Piers Morgan (25-54, 18-49, HHS). Heading into the weekend,Friday night timeslot wins included The Graham Norton Show (25-54, 18-49), 7 Days* (all four demographics) and Fail Army (all four demographics). Saturdaynight’s family movie Mr Peabody and Sherman also won its timeslot (all four demographics).

In radio, the latest GfK survey results were released on Thursday, September 28thand reported that overall national radio listenership has lifted to 3,360,100. MediaWorks Radio has again grown in popularity, increasing total listeners by 33,600 to reach 2,308,200 people nationwide across its nine radio brands, and for the first time, Mai FM is the number one breakfast show in Auckland with 143,300 listeners tuning in to Nickson, Nate and Lily each morning. More FM’s Polly & Grant have also proven to be an instant hit among listeners in Wellington, almost doubling the breakfast show share to 7.4%, up from 4.3% in July 2017.
