Japanese/Kiwi artist *JOY* releases 2 of 3 intricate EPs

*JOY* is releasing 3 intricate E.P.s over 3 months. This is a lifetime project so keep on the pulse of what this exciting and interesting musician is creating.

With the first ‘Music To Live For’ released in October, open your mind and hearts to the emotions of ‘Ghost’ E.P. The purpose of this music project is purely to share music. It’s a breath of blossoming air for music lovers.

Think Little Dragon crossed with Cornelius and a bit of The XX; this is *JOY*... kind of. *JOY* is brave and bold in his music choices, ranging from some deep gritty beats through to piano, and his trademark twinking dashes of sound, synths and vocal cuts. It’s easy to feel the NZ and Japanese influence through both E.P’s, but it has a modern twist with no stagnating moments.

With ‘Music To Live For’ E.P. rotating through Australasia, it’s time for ‘GHOST’ E.P. This project features Christchurch's Veteran musicians such as Harry Harrison (guitar/ ukulele) and an avant garde feel of Naomi Hnat from Christchurch Symphony Orchestra (Cellist). Fusing the 2 releases together is the stunning voice of Lucy Hiku, an award winning singer songwriter and *JOY*'s resident vocalist.

The December E.P. is still in the studio process to ensure the music is immediate for summer, so expect it at the end of December 2107. There are no live performances locked in yet, however, this intensive musician has plans to showcase his music when he can ensure it will be represented to a lux standard for a live audience, with the perfect musicians and setting.
