Match
Notes:
- When the teams last met in Round 4 the
Magic defeated the Stars 64-53 in Auckland.
- The Stars
claimed their first fourth quarter win in 2018 in their
Round 6 loss to the Steel on Super
Sunday in
Christchurch.
- The Magic’s three consecutive wins
equals their ANZ Premiership best winning run when
they
won both matches in Round 1 and their Round 2 match
last season.
- Anna Thompson made her debut for the Stars
against the Steel on Super Sunday in
Christchurch.
Thompson will play her 150th National League match if she
was to take the court for the Stars again. Thompson played
17 National Bank Cup matches, 116 in the former
Trans-
Tasman Championship and she has now played 16
matches in the ANZ
Premiership.
