No Common Ground

No Common Ground is a one-day symposium addressing histories of feminist art, mana wahine and queer practice, co-organised by Adam Art Gallery Te Pātaka Toi, The Dowse Art Museum and Enjoy Public Art Gallery, and hosted at Victoria University of Wellington.
The symposium coincides with upcoming exhibitions at each of the respective organisations including a solo exhibition by artist and designer Ella Sutherland at Enjoy Public Art Gallery, open from 5 July. During the symposium there will be an opportunity to visit Adam Art Gallery’s exhibition, The Earth Looks Upon Us (7 July - 23 September), and at the conclusion of the day, transport will be provided to take participants to The Dowse Art Museum for the opening of Embodied Knowledge (7 July - 28 October).
