The Southern Fork American Fest is an unmatched bill of international and local artists ready to satisfy every country, blues and folk lovers' dreams!


Kicking the fifth annual festival off with a hoot & holler this weekend is:

This Friday, Folk traditionalist Willie Watson (Old Crow Medicine Show) partners up with Tui-Award winner Holly Arrowsmith to launch the five-date festival.

On Saturday night NY-based singer and guitarist Steve Gunn and Auckland psychedelic-folk troubadour Arthur Ahbez will join forces for a show not to miss!

To once again offer enthusiasts the chance to see more acts and to encourage music fans to discover new artists, the festival has a special ticket pricing scheme, enabling them to receive discounts on multiple ticket purchases.

Next Friday 12th October, the winner of both Best New Zealand Country Music Artist/Album 2018 and Best APRA Country Music Song 2018 Reb Fountain and her band in full glory will team up with folk Wordsmith Tom Cunliff.

Saturday October 13, NZ's favourite string band The Eastern and introspective alt/folk songwriter Emily Fairlight will tear down the roof of the Tuning Fork.

On Wednesday 17th October the festival finale will see the collaboration of rising Nashville star Margo Price and her band and the beautifully battered country sounds of Courtney Marie Andrews.
