Silo Park announces epic March line up

With a hot forecast and an even hotter lineup, March at Silo Park is set to be scorching!

Silo Park’s eighth season is ramping up with blockbuster movies, our first rescued produce food event and more!

Silo Park Event Manager, John Sutton, says this summer is one to remember.

“Our great line up, paired with gorgeous weather and an awesome crowd has ensured a rad start to Silo Park’s eighth season and we're not slowing down. We're celebrating the last month of Summer with even more good vibes," he says.

Weekends start on Friday at 5PM with the Silo Bar and an abundance of food trucks followed by Silo Cinema. Each Friday night at 8.30PM, a different film will be projected onto one of the silos for all to enjoy.

Silo Cinema features blockbusters (Mission: Impossible - Fall Out, Ocean’s 8, First Man), a popular indie film (Lady Bird) and another People’s Choice (public vote between Wonder Woman, Terminator 2, Dumb & Dumber or Mean Girls).

Proceeds from popcorn sales at Silo Cinema are donated to The Auckland City Mission.

Saturday and Sunday’s in March continue to feature bespoke events with a rotation of DJs, community performances and hands-on workshops.

New events to add to your summer calendar include a first for Silo Park; Kiwi Harvest; Kai with (re)Purpose, and the return of Dog Day Afternoon.

KiwiHarvest; Kai with (re)Purpose will see five local food truck favourites transform kai rescued from KiwiHarvest into delicious meals for you to enjoy! A percentage of all sales will go to KiwiHarvest to help them rescue more food and help nourish communities across New Zealand.

For a full calendar of upcoming events visit silopark.co.nz or facebook.com/silopark.

A special thank you to Panuku Development Auckland and Fresh Concept for making it all possible.
