Leading Pacific Performers to Show Love to Muslim Community

Leading Pacific performers will unite for a concert on Thursday 11 April at the Vodafone Events Centre in Auckland to show their love and solidarity for New Zealand’s Muslim community.

The Alofa Concert #LoveWillPrevail is open to all and will raise funds for the ‘Our People, Our City’ fund, which was set up by the Christchurch Foundation helping those affected by the Christchurch terror attacks.

It will feature iconic Pacific artists including Paris Goebel and the Royal Family, Amitai Pati from Sole Mio, Che Fu, Annie Crummer, Jamoa Jam, Lavina Williams, Poetik, Raze and TJ Taotua. More acts will be confirmed in the coming days.

The concert will will be co-hosted by Tangata Pasifika’s John Pulu and Star Kata and will be supported by Pacific comedian Tofiga Fepuea’i.

This event is supported by leaders from the Pacific community which includes Sir Michael Jones and Annie Crurobmmer.

Sir Michael Jones says:

“This is a time for all of us to stay united and show alofa (love) with our Muslim community. Now more than ever it is important to send a message that #lovewillprevail.

“It’s humbling the great number of artists from across our community who have volunteered their time to make this event happen.”

Annie Crummer says:

“Our Alofa Concert will radiate LOVE to healing hearts everywhere”

Ticket prices are Adults $10.00 Children (12 years old and under) $5.00 Family Concession (2 Adults & 2 Children) $25.00
