• The teams last met in Round 6 the Stars defeated the Mystics 64-50 in Auckland.
• In eight previous meetings between the teams in the ANZ Premiership both teams have four wins.
• The Stars made a promising five win, two loss start to the 2019 but have lost their last four matches. This hasn’t affected their ladder position though, having held third position on the ladder after the past eight rounds.
• The Stars have the second highest number of attempts at goal this season with an average of 66.5 shot at goal per match.
• The Mystics have the worst defensive record in the competition conceding 56.6 goals per match. The Mystics also have the worst team shooting accuracy at 74%.
• The Mystics didn’t win an opening quarter in their first eight matches this season but they beat the Pulse by 4-goals in the first quarter last week and the Steel by 1-goal in Round 9.
• The Stars have lost their last four opening quarters in matches against the Pulse, Magic, Steel and Tactix, they hadn’t lost an opening quarter prior to that.
• Stars defender Kayla Cullen played her 100th combined National League match in Round 9 against the Tactix. Cullen played 74 matches for the Mystics in the ANZ Championship and she has played 26 matches for the Stars in the ANZ Premiership.

• When the teams last met in Round 6 the Pulse defeated the Tactix 48-33 in Auckland.
• The Pulse is on a 10-match club record winning run. The Pulse’s 10-match winning run is their best winning run in their 11-year history dating back to the former Trans-Tasman Championship which began in 2008.
• The Tactix 49-46 win over the Stars in Christchurch was just their second win on their home court at Horncastle Arena. The Tactix have now won four matches at home in the ANZ Premiership, two at the Trafalgar Centre in Nelson and two at Horncastle Arena in Christchurch.
• The Tactix have the second lowest average goals scored this season with 47 goals per match. They also have the second worst defensive record conceding 55.8 goals per match.
• The Tactix have the second-best shooting accuracy in the ANZ Premiership at 84.5%.
• The Pulse have the second-best attacking record in the competition scoring 56.7 goals per match. The Pulse have the best shooting accuracy at 86% while they also have the best defensive record conceding just 42.3 goals per match.
• Pulse shooter Aliyah Dunn is the most accurate shooter in the ANZ Premiership with her 326 goals coming at 93.7% accuracy, while Tactix shooter Ellie Bird is the second most accurate shooting 358 goals at 90.2%.

• Steel defender Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit played her 150th combined National League match in Round 9 against the Mystics. Selby-Rickit has played these matches across the former New Zealand National Bank Cup (8 matches), the ANZ Championship (99) and the ANZ Premiership (43).
