Murray Ansell, "License Your Way to Success in the United States"

Thursday, March 18, Mt Albert, Auckland

Innovative New Zealand companies entering the US market face many challenges. What can they do to break through the barriers?

Distribution can be the key to success and expatriate New Zealander and US commercialisation and licensing expert Murray Ansell has come up with a clever solution that unlocks the key to breaking into the US market for New Zealand inventors, start-ups and small businesses.

His Los Angeles-based company, ThinkUSA www.ThinkUsa.com , arranges and manages licenses for innovative companies wishing to enter the US market using the company’s unique Turn-Key Licensing solution.

At this not-to-be-missed seminar, come and hear Murray Ansell talk about the challenges New Zealand companies face in the US and what they need to do to succeed there.

Murray Ansell will also present a case study showing how he came up with the idea for Turn-Key Licensing and talk about an exciting new initiative for Kiwi inventors, start-ups and small businesses wanting to expand into the US.

Formerly an accountant and investment banker from Otago, Murray Ansell has had over 10 years experience in the US, advising and assisting new product developers to commercialise inventions. He has been a member of the Licensing Executives Society (USA and Canada) since 1993.

ThinkUSA has worked with a wide variety of industries and negotiated licenses or distribution deals with leading corporates including The Proctor & Gamble Company, GE Capital, SKF Bearings and Nissho Iwai, as well as a host of top medium-sized companies in the US, Europe and Australia.
