New Range of cabin crew qualifications

02 August 2005

The International Travel College Of New Zealand Offers new Range of cabin crew qualifications

Flight attending is a very popular career, and competition for the limited jobs available is very tough! Less than 4% of applicants to airlines make it through to become a flight attendant, so candidates have to be well prepared to make it through!

The International Travel College of New Zealand, in conjunction with CabinCrew Direct has launched an innovative Cabin Crew Preparation Programme that helps people reach their dream job by preparing them for the rigorous airlines selection process and providing essential pre-training in flight attending.

CabinCrew Direct is the leading global online course designed specifically to provide airlines with pre-prepared Cabin Crew candidates. The course is designed in association with leading airlines who work closely with graduates to help secure airline jobs at course completion.

Paul Ford, Sales and Marketing Manager at CabinCrewDirect said: ‘We are delighted to announce that The International Travel College of New Zealand has become our Australasia representative for Cabin Crew training. There is global demand for new flight attendant candidates, and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with ITC.

This initiative will provide easy access to our programmes, local support and ongoing training locally, and will benefit students wanting to become cabin crew, throughout the region.’

The International Travel College of New Zealand is proud to be associated with CabinCrew Direct as it helps to meet the needs of the local airline and tourism industries. Karen Houston, ITC Director, said,

“The airline and tourism industries are experiencing significant skill shortages across all areas of their operation. We believe this new programme will better prepare candidates for airline jobs, providing higher quality candidates to the airlines, and providing an improved pre-selection and training service for the airline industries. “
