Sum1t Up Magazine, up and running.

For the Students and the Media: Well Yes! As a new tertiary student union in South Auckland we are bound to be.......well, 'newsworthy', hell, it's almost mandatory. Watch our space.

If you haven't seem it yet, Sum1t Up Magazine, flagship of the new Manukau Institute of Technology students union, is up and running.

It hit the campus with a buzz and feedback from students, staff and faculty has been very positive.

You know you're onto a good thing when the employees of your 'opponent' send their hearty congratulations.

Today was somewhat of a coup really. Our article fare welling Papa Ku (Papa Kukupa Tirikatene broke on the very day of his poroporoaki as he leaves our campus and takes up his new role in Te Papa. Photos available NOW (see samples attached; jpeg or CR2 (8MP)). We wish you well Ku, you will be missed but we are very proud for you. A contingent from Manukau will travel to celebrate the transition in Wellington.

It's an anonymous blog about the school and its campus.

For Businesses: We are a student union, legally incorporated just a month ago.

Our Campus is up to 26,000 students strong plus 1000 staff. That population comes from all over Auckland City and Franklin County. The magazine will also be read by family and friends.
