Whangarei cross country championships a success
More than 1,200 year 4-8 students competitors make Whangarei cross country championships a great success
NorthTec Sport and Recreation students hosted more than 1,200 year 4 to year 8 students at the Whangarei Primary School Sports Associations’ (WPSSA) cross country championships at Barge Park, Whangarei on 4 September.
The top fifteen place-getters from each race qualified for the Northland Primary Schools Cross Country Championships which will be held at Barge Park, Whangarei on 23 September.
“It was a great success and a fun day was
had by all,” said NorthTec’s Sport and Recreation
Programme Area Manager Jillian Fulcher.
“Thank you to
all the athletes, supporters and volunteers for the part
they played in the smooth running of the
day.”
