Sustainable Exporters get the thumbs up from Ricoh New Zealand
The New Zealand School of Export is pleased to introduce the “Ricoh Sustainable Export Scholarship” sponsored by Ricoh New Zealand Ltd.
The Scholarship contributes to the course fee for the recipient to study the Diploma of International Trade – which is the route to the Global Trade Professional designation - by distance learning.
Environmental sustainability is at the core of Ricoh New Zealand's business strategy and knowing that exporters are under increasing pressure to reduce their carbon footprint, Ricoh is keen to support businesses wanting to succeed internationally, but not at the expense of the environment.
"Here at Ricoh we have seen how a focus on sustainability can reap environmental, social and economic rewards" says Keith Davis-Downs, Account Manager.
Ricoh and the School share the belief that conserving valuable resources makes good business sense. “The School takes its Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously in terms of the triple bottom line and we are pleased that Ricoh does too” says Romuald Rudzki, Director of the School.
“Our teaching materials include content on climate change, fair trade and the impact of exports on local populations, because we believe it is essential for exporters to understand the global context within which they undertake their exporting activities both now and increasingly in the future.
The New Zealand School of Export does not receive funding from government and this very practical support from Ricoh is most welcome”.
