That's Life! magazine wants to give two schools the chance to kick start their fundraising efforts!

That's Life! magazine is giving all New Zealand intermediate and primary schools, kindergartens and preschools the chance to win a $5,000 carnival plus $2,000 cash donation to help kick-start their fundraising campaign or just to celebrate the school year!

In a special six-week long campaign commencing this Monday May 3rd, That's Life! magazine will publish tokens for readers to collect and donate to their local school. The school, kindergarten or preschool that collects the most tokens over the six-week period will win the grand prize!

If a school (etc) has under 100 pupils (school roll as of Febuary 1st) they can choose to enter the second prize category. The winner will receive a $1,000 cheque and a That's Life! morning tea for everyone.

Eva Lewicki, editor of That's Life! magazine, says she is thrilled to announce the start of this competition. 'I'm so excited! This is a great opportunity for schools to come together and kick start their fundraising efforts. I am sure a Carnival Day, as well as a $2,000 cash donation, will go a long way to help the winning school's community,' Lewicki adds. 'That's Life! magazine is all about community spirit, and being able to give back to the community who have supported the magazine for many years is a wonderful thing.'

Schools are encouraged to make it known within their community that they are collecting That's Life! carnival tokens, and perhaps create a special drop-off point where the local community can show their support.
