Fulbright New Zealand calls for applications to its range of Scholar Awards for New Zealand academics, artists and professionals to undertake academic and cultural exchanges to the United States of America:

Senior Scholar Awards
These awards, valued up to
US$32,500 plus travel expenses, are for New Zealand
academics, artists or professionals to lecture and/or
conduct research in the US for three to five months. A small
number of awards are granted each year.

Fulbright
Visiting Scholar Awards in New Zealand Studies
These
awards, valued at up to US$32,500 plus travel expenses, are
for New Zealand academics to conduct research and teach a
course in New Zealand Studies at Georgetown University in
Washington, DC for one or two semesters. Two awards are
granted each year – one per semester.

Fulbright-Cognition
Scholar Award in Education Research
This award,
valued at up to US$32,500 plus travel expenses, is for a New
Zealand educator or scholar to pursue research in the US
designed to have an impact on New Zealand schooling and
student achievement, for three to five months. One award is
granted each year.

Pae o te Māramatanga Senior Scholar Award
This
award, valued at up to US$32,500 plus travel expenses, is
for a New Zealand academic, artist or professional to
conduct research and/or lecture in the US for three to five
months in a field of indigenous development. One award is
granted each year.

These awards, valued at up
to NZ$5,000, are for New Zealand academics, artists or
professionals to visit the US for 12 to 90 days in order to
present their work to American audiences. Approximately
twelve awards are offered each year.

Pae o te Māramatanga Travel Awards in Indigenous
Development
These awards, valued at up to NZ$5,000,
are for New Zealand academics, artists or professionals to
visit the US for 12 to 90 days in order to present their
work on a theme of indigenous development to American
audiences. A small number of awards are granted each
year.

apply to host visiting American academics, artists or
professionals on exchanges to New Zealand:
Fulbright Specialist Awards
These awards,
valued at up to NZ$8,400 plus travel expenses, are for New
Zealand academic institutions to host US academics, artists
or professionals for two to six week programmes of lectures,
seminars, workshops, conferences or symposiums. Up to six
awards are granted each year.
