UCOL’s Biggest Day Of The Year
UCOL’s Biggest Day Of The
Year
Palmerston North UCOL will once again throw open its doors for its annual Open Day on Wednesday 4 August.
UCOL’s ‘biggest day of the year’ is well known for its lively atmosphere and the variety of interactive displays and demonstrations representing more than 110 programmes on offer.
This year Veterinary Nursing will have the assistance of miniature donkeys, chickens, rabbits and a dog to promote their Diploma programme.
UCOL Events Coordinator Nicola Grant says the petting zoo is one of many unique attractions among the free activities that include a Bucking Bull ride, sumo wrestling and live performances by UCOL’s Contemporary Music students and band Deaf Lemon.
There will be everything from the Exercise and Sport programme’s “Row Off” competition to soothing massages and nail treatments.
Visitors can expect free food, giveaways and plenty of entertainment as they explore the diverse range of study opportunities at the Open Day.
There will be regular tours of the campus facilities throughout the day.
The Open Day is on Wednesday 4 August, from 9.00am – 2.00pm at the UCOL campus, corner of Princess and King Streets.
