Gifted Kids Presents Patterama 2013


To help celebrate Gifted Awareness Week Gifted Kids Hutt and Wellington
classes are presenting a student led gifted conference Patterama 2013 at
Parliament Buildings on Tuesday 18th June at 4-7pm hosted by Dr. Cam
Calder, Catherine Delahunty and Megan Woods.

The conference presented by Gifted Kids students will focus on patterns in
everyday life and will hold a mixture of 16 interactive workshops that
explore the world of patterns.

During this conference our students will share their learning with
friends, families and supporters of Gifted Kids as well as demonstrate the
value they receive from being involved in a specialist gifted education
programme.

Gifted Awareness Week is celebrated in New Zealand from 17th-23rd June to
draw attention to gifted people and the nature of giftedness.

This year Gifted Kids are holding several gifted awareness projects
throughout the country to highlight the need to educate and advocate the
importance of gifted education in New Zealand.

Gifted Kids was founded in 2000 to meet the educational and social needs
of gifted children in New Zealand. Gifted Kids delivers services in
Northern Wairoa, Auckland, Rotorua, Masterton, Hutt Valley, Wellington,
Dunedin, and Invercargill.
