Learn German in the Hip City of Berlin

Learn German in the Hip City of Berlin

For those making a New Year's resolution to learn a foreign language, consider a German language course in the hotly hip city of Berlin.

Goethe-Institut (sic) offers a range of adult language courses across Germany, set in quaint ancient towns through to big cities like Berlin.

The courses range from one month or more and cater from beginners upwards. A typical course involves a daily four hour class, Monday to Friday, with the rest of the day free to explore either solo or on the Goethe-Insitut's optional cultural programme.

Activities include city history walks, museum and gallery tours, music, ballet and opera performances, bicycle trips and brewery visits. Berlin is also renowned for its club scene and diverse lifestyle festivals.

A one month language tuition course is a just over 1000 Euros. Flights, accommodation and meals are additional. Goethe-Institut can arrange inexpensive hosted accommodation and Lufthansa German Airlines offer good connections through to Germany daily.
