Australian National Student Business Plan Competition open to New Zealand pharmacy students
New Zealand’s pharmacy students are invited to participate in the tenth Australian National Student Business Plan Competition which was launched on Sunday during the Annual National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association (NAPSA) Congress in Townsville.
This is the second year that New Zealand students have been invited to take part in the competition that encourages student teams to use their ideas, talents and energy to create innovative new business ideas in community pharmacy through the development of competitive business plans.
The 2016 competition timeline is below and all information is available at www.guild.org.au/news-events/awards-recognition/national-student-business-plan-competition. Competition information has also been sent to the New Zealand pharmacy schools’ deans to circulate with students.

The competition is open to all students studying pharmacy in Australia and New Zealand and will provide $15,000 in cash prizes to the finalists (top three teams) in addition to registration, flights and accommodation to attend the Australian Guild’s 2016 Pharmacy Transformation Business event.
The competition is an initiative of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia and is sponsored by Blackmores (principal sponsor), EBOS (major sponsor) with continued sponsorship from foundation sponsors Gold Cross Products and Services and Pharmaceutical Defence Limited (PDL). The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand is proud to support the completion, now in its second trans-Tasman year.
