Taking charge of your breast cancer

One of the USA’s foremost practitioners in the field of breast cancer, Dr John Link, is visiting New Zealand and will conduct a one-off, free public lecture at Auckland University for women with breast cancer, their families, and friends. To date, there has been a very high level of interest from the general public.

Dr Link, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California, has established four of America’s leading breast cancer clinics under the group name Breastlink.
He will discuss the different ways in which patients can manage their condition.

Dr Link currently treats over 2,000 women each year and has written two books on the subject of how women can manage their breast cancer - The Breast Cancer Survival Manual, editions I and II.

For further information on Dr Link or his public lecture, please contact Clare England or Chris Lydon on (09) 379 3154. If you are unable to attend, but would like to arrange an interview with Dr Link, please contact Clare or Chris.
