ASB Bank Relieved At Manukau Serial Killings Charges
Statement made by Hugh Burrett, Managing Director ASB
BANK
We are relieved that Police have charged three
men in relation to the Manukau Serial Killings.
We would
like to congratulate Police on their swift action and thank
them for the support they have given staff at ASB BANK and
John Vaughan’s family during this terrible time.
The
murder of our colleague, John, was a senseless act which we
are still struggling to come to terms with. The charging of
these men relieves some of the pressure we all felt.
We
will continue to provide full support to John’s family, the
staff from the Mangere Bridge branch, and colleagues
throughout the country who have been feeling this loss.
ASB BANK would also like to thank the incredible support
of our customers and the wider public whose tributes have
touched every staff member in communities around the
country.
