DORE Achievement Centre Appoints Six New Staff

The Dore Achievement Centre, a new programme to treat people with learning disorders has appointed six new staff; two doctors, three programme specialists and an office coordinator.

Doctors Glen Twentyman and Caroline Shepherd will be responsible for analysing patient tests and prescribing customised exercise programmes to treat the problem. They have been general practitioners for 18 years and 14 years respectively.

Dore’s three programme specialists are Rosemarie Westmoreland, Lauren Emanuel and Helma Dalton. They are responsible for assisting patients throughout the Dore programme from the initial assessment and the progress visits through to the end final assessment. All three have backgrounds in health / special needs.

Leeanne Fowler has been appointed office co-coordinator, responsible for the accounts and administration of the centre. Prior to this Leanne was the office administrator at Fairhaven Special Needs School in Napier.
