Public open day at Napier Health Centre
Members of the public have an opportunity to tour through Napier Health Centre on Saturday 24 March 2007 between 10am -2pm, when the centre holds a public open day.
Chris Clarke, Chief Executive Officer, says the open day is an opportunity for people to see inside the health centre.
"We will be providing guided tours, allowing people to view some of the behind the scenes clinical areas and to get a feel for the range of services provided. I am sure many people will be surprised at the depth and breadth of activity that occurs on a daily basis at the Napier Health Centre” Mr Clarke said.
"It's going to be a great day and a really interesting opportunity for both the public and the people who work in and from the centre to showcase the wide range of services available at Napier Health Centre," Mr Clarke said.
The open day includes displays, staff will be on hand to talk to the public about their work and tours of the clinical areas will running tours throughout the day (subject to availability, i.e. those areas not being used for patient treatment).
Activities on offer include behind the scenes tours, displays, quiz, children’s face painting and colouring competition.
