Labtests remains committed to providing community pathology services for Auckland and is now 100% focused on re-tendering for the contract.

Labtests is a 77 per cent owned subsidiary of Healthscope Limited and local partners. Labtests was appointed sole provider for community pathology services for the Auckland region in July 2006. The contract covers pathology tests referred by health professionals in the regions governed by the Auckland District Health Board, the Waitemata District Health Board and the Counties Manukau District Health Board.
