Academies Raise Thousands For Mental Health Foundation

BUDDING New Zealand property investors and entrepreneurs have donated thousands of dollars to charity.

Generous attendees at recent Richmastery Property and Business Academies contributed more than $7,400 to a bucket collection for the Mental Health Foundation.

Richmastery, which has its head office in Penrose, Auckland, attracts hundreds from around New Zealand to its educational events, and CEO Corinna Jones, has built a strong relationship with the Mental Health Foundation over the years.

Corinna explains: “The Mental Health Foundation is an organisation which has become close to my heart after I lost my first husband to depression and ultimately suicide.

“I feel there is often stigma and much misunderstanding around mental health issues which makes it difficult for people in need to seek the right help.

“This means the work of the Mental Health Foundation is absolutely essential.

“I have come on a massive personal journey since losing my first husband and now feel very fortunate to be able to help such a worthy organisation.

“I am also completely overwhelmed by the generosity of our Richmastery clients and can’t thank them enough for joining me in support of this cause!”

This week Corinna and her husband, Richmastery director Phil Jones, visited the Mental Health Foundation offices in Eden Terrace to present a cheque for $7,473.80.

Judi Clements, Chief Executive of the Mental Health Foundation says:

“We are hugely grateful to Corinna for her continued support and generosity to the Foundation.

“Among other things, support like this means that we can continue to provide free resources and information to those who need it, when they need it.”

Richmastery intends to continue supporting the work of the Mental Health Foundation with collections at its business and property academies in November and October.
