Cancer Society Daffodil Day 2007

Cancer Society Daffodil Day 2007

The Cancer Society of NZ is the NR1 charity in New Zealand and this year again was voted the most trusted charity in the annual Reader’s Digest survey of the NZ public

Daffodil Day is the New Zealand Cancer Society’s major appeal to raise funds to help those affected by cancer and has been in New Zealand for 15 years

Cancer is the cause that touches the most people – cancer knows no bounds (age, sex, creed, socio) and affects 1 in 3 New Zealanders either indirectly or directly!

The Daffodil symbol was chosen as it represents the beginning of spring and new hope for the 1 in 3 New Zealanders affected by cancer

All the money generated goes into research to find a cure or to support services

All the money raised in the local community is put back into the local community
