Thank you for helping to give NZ children the best start in life!

Thousands of dedicated volunteers and staff from Plunket and ANZ Bank hit the streets of New Zealand during Plunket's Annual Appeal (which ran from 13th 21st October) - taking part in a variety of fundraising events, such as sausage sizzles, cake baking competitions, street appeals, stair climbs and door-to-door collections.

"It's great to know that we can rely on the continuing generosity of New Zealanders to put their hand in their pocket, and to give their time to help support Plunket in giving our children the best start in life," says Carol Becker, Plunket's New Zealand President.

"The support we have received from our principal sponsor, ANZ, has been incredible. ANZ staff throughout the country have worked very hard in raising money for Plunket in so many different ways."

All money raised locally will be used for local Plunket services, including Plunket Family Centres, Car Seat Rental Schemes, parent groups, parenting education and toy libraries.

"Thanks to your donations, we are able to ensure a lot of these local services continue to support young families around the country", says Carol. The total amount raised will be announced later in the year, when all the funds have been received from all sources.
