Key US Pro-life Activist visiting NZ
Media Advisory Prolife NZ 25th January 2011
Jill Stanek, an internationally recognised pro-life speaker from the United States, will be touring New Zealand between the 28th of January and 8th of February.
A former nurse, Jill was a key activist in gaining reform of abortion laws in the United States. She is currently a prominent commentator on pro-life issues in the US, featuring in the media frequently.
Most notably, she has been involved in the law change against partial-birth abortion, which involves the killing and dissecting of babies born alive in the abortion process – campaigning against the actions of abortionists such as Dr. Kermit Gosnell. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=10700853
The Partial Brith Abortion Ban Act 2003 and the Born Alive Infants Protection Act 2002 can both be partly attributed to her efforts.
Jill is available for media interviews.
