Support Starship Children... And Win a Brand New Škoda Yeti

Not only do ill and injured children benefit from Starship’s mobile phone recycling appeal, but now the public can too – with a brand new ŠKODA Yeti up for grabs in Starship’s “Win a ŠKODA” Competition.

Anyone who supports Starship by donating an old mobile phone in a specially marked competition envelope and correctly completing all the entry details, is in to win a 2011 ŠKODA Yeti TSI 77 valued at more than $38,000.

The car has been generously donated to the Starship Foundation by ŠKODA New Zealand.
Donated mobile phones in working order are refurbished through recycling partner Folamh and exported to developing countries around the world, while those beyond repair are recycled through the correct environmental channels.

Any make or model of donated mobile phone can be donated and makes a real difference to children all around New Zealand.

The money raised from donated mobile phones goes towards Starship’s National Air Ambulance Service. Year round, the Air Ambulance rushes medical experts to life-threatening emergencies around the country where they stabilise critically ill or injured children and allow them to be brought safely to Starship to receive the care they need.

Competition entry envelopes are being distributed in the Sunday Star-Times, and are also available at ŠKODA dealerships and at any Vodafone, Telecom, 2degrees or TelstraClear store.

Starship’s “Win a ŠKODA” competition runs until 5pm, August 29th. Judging will be held on 31 August 2011 and the winner notified immediately.
