It’s all happening: ED Carpark closure this weekend
The Christchurch Hospital Emergency Department (ED) carpark will be closed between 7pm this Friday (February 17, 2012) and 11am on Saturday (February 18, 2012) morning.
The closure of the carpark is required so that a crane can safely lift three portacoms onto the second floor garden area above ED on Saturday morning. The portacoms will provide staff with much needed office space during earthquake-related repairs.
Pedestrian access to ED will be maintained, a drop off area will be available and the ambulance bay will not be affected.
It is requested that for the duration of the closure the surrounding carparks by the river are left available for ED patients.
