Royal NZ College of GPs congratulates General Practice New Zealand on new Chair

The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) congratulates General Practice New Zealand on appointing Shelley Frost as its new Chair.

College President Harry Pert says, “We welcome Shelley’s appointment. We’ve enjoyed working with her for several years already as Deputy Chair and look forward to continuing our professional relationship with her.

“Shelley brings commitment to collaboration and well-established knowledge and experience of primary care to the Chair’s role. Her strong advocacy skills and belief in the values of integration and networks for achieving the best outcomes in general practice will be a huge asset to GPNZ in her new role.

“We also look forward to working with Dr Des Epp as the new Deputy Chair and thank outgoing Chair Dr Bev O’Keefe for her outstanding work in ensuring a sustainable future for general practice in New Zealand.”
