ASMS welcomes HDC appointment
“The ASMS welcomes the reappointment of Health and Disability Commissioner Anthony Hill for a second term,” says Ian Powell, Executive Director of the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists (ASMS).
Health Minister Jonathan Coleman announced Mr Hill’s reappointment yesterday, thanking him for his ongoing commitment to the role.
Mr Powell says Anthony Hill has taken a considered, thoughtful approach to the position and his reappointment is to be commended.
“It’s a very important role for promoting patients’ rights to a safe, high quality health system.”
