Guild congratulates all 2015 Pharmacy Award’s finalists

Guild congratulates all 2015 Pharmacy Award’s finalists

The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand (the Guild) congratulates all the 2015 Pharmacy Award’s finalists and thanks everyone who took the time to enter the awards.

The judges were impressed with the very high standard of entries, making the judging of each category especially difficult. The judges have announced finalists for each category with the winners and the Supreme Award winner to be announced at the awards ceremony on Saturday 8 August.

Guild Chief Executive, Lee Hohaia says “The judges have praised the high calibre of entries this year and I believe this is a true reflection of the valuable and innovative services that are being provided to communities from the pharmacy sector. The awards offer an invaluable opportunity to showcase and acknowledge this work. We thank all those who have submitted an entry this year and shared the initiatives that you and your colleagues have developed and implemented for the benefit of your patients, and that contribute to the wider pharmacy profession.

“We were pleased to see Guild member pharmacies among the finalists, particularly for the Guild and PSL Community Pharmacy of the Year Award, and look forward to hearing the outcome of this category at the awards ceremony.

“We remind all finalists, and those that are attending the awards ceremony, that the Guild is holding our first ever Pharmacy Business Network on the Saturday of the Awards ceremony and we encourage you all to attend. The conference will have real benefit for independent pharmacies and we have tailored the sessions to ensure you leave with fresh, innovative, and practical ideas and information that you can incorporate into the day to day running of your pharmacies. Further information is available at www.pharmacybusinessnetwork.nz.”
