Guild announces second Pharmacy Business Network
The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand (the Guild) is excited to announce that the second Pharmacy Business Network (PBN) will be held on Saturday 6 August 2016, at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland.
PBN is a one day business management conference for pharmacy owners and managers. The Guild held PBN for the very first time last year and following a successful conference and extremely positive feedback from attendees, is very pleased to be able to offer this event to the sector again.
Guild Chief Executive, Lee Hohaia says, “PBN is a valuable opportunity for current and aspiring pharmacy owners and managers to gain new ideas and skills to enhance the performance and culture of their business. We have an exceptional line up of speakers this year ready to inspire attendees with their advice on best business practice and people management. Additionally PBN offers a valuable networking opportunity for the sector, as well as tying in perfectly with the annual Pharmacy Awards which will be another fantastic evening of celebration.”
This year PBN will start with a key note address from Justine Troy who will share how she and her husband risked it all to build a brand that made the world sit up and take notice, 42 Below Vodka. Justine will talk about her journey breaking into the market and having doors shut, telling her inspirational business story that will appeal to everyone who loves a brave – and ultimately successful – little Kiwi battler.
This will be followed by concurrent sessions on managing your business and managing your people. We will close the day with a single session on leading your pharmacy to improved performance.
The full programme and speaker profiles can be viewed at www.pharmacybusinessnetwork.nz. Early bird tickets are currently available for just $249 plus GST for Guild members, pharmacy students and sector representatives, and $449 plus GST for Guild non members.
