Medtech Evolution gets the green light

After a thorough and rigorous evaluation process, Green Cross Health has chosen to roll-out Medtech Evolution – Medtech Global’s premier practice management system – across all of its medical centres throughout New Zealand. This will represent well over 1000 users.

Green Cross Health Limited is a leading provider of primary health care services, servicing communities the length and breadth of New Zealand.

Shaun Smith, General Manager of Green Cross Health medical division, commented that the opportunity to update to the best current nationally available technology was the right choice for the Green Cross Health medical business. “Medtech Evolution was thoroughly evaluated by our practices and users, both in technology and user experience as well as taking into account transition, training and support. We were satisfied that it was the best system to meet our needs. Our internal programme will ensure the transition for practices will be as seamless as possible”, said Mr Smith.

“Medtech Evolution is the practice management system of the future.” says Vino Ramayah, Executive Chairman of Medtech Global. He added, “We’ve put our over 30 years of domain experience into creating this state-of-the art product. Evolution employs the latest Microsoft technology and a Microsoft SQL database. The transition from the existing Medtech32 practice management system has been made efficient and smooth. Medtech has ensured that users can retain many of the familiar workflows and shortcuts in Medtech32.

Medtech Evolution includes a clinical and business intelligence tool (CBIT) which we specially developed to enable practices to view and compare practice data with national data as well as to collate financial information. Evolution makes it easier for practices to view the financial health of their practice and also to save and earn money.”
