What do babies, boobs and broccoli have in common?
5+ A Day is proud to announce its support of a series of seminars on the importance of good nutrition for mums, kids and families.
The seminars, ‘Takes A Village: Babies, Boobs, Broccoli’ will be fronted by 5+ A Day ambassadors Julia & Libby, and parent bloggers Anna Reeve and Rebecca Shannon. The theme of the seminars is based on the widely quoted proverb, “it takes a village to raise a child.”
Taking in seven cities around the country, the evening seminars will be informative and interactive, with a presentation from nutritionist and published authors Julia & Libby, followed by a panel chat.
It’s an opportunity for parents to learn how
to prepare healthy meals for families on a budget, increase
their knowledge about children’s immunity, and pick up
some healthy eating tips for busy mums, especially during
pregnancy and breast feeding.
The support of the seminars forms part of 5+ A Day’s brand ambassador relationship with Julia & Libby,
5+ A Day General Manager, Paula Dudley, says: “We are excited to be supporting this series of seminars as it is a great way to inspire people about the importance of fresh fruit and vegetables for babies, toddlers and the family as a whole,” says Paula. “The seven seminars around the country promise to be fun and informative evenings for everyone who comes along.”
Julia & Libby became ambassadors for the 5+ A Day Charitable Trust in May. They will create recipes using fresh seasonal produce and share the 5+ A Day message across their social media channels.
Julia & Libby are strong advocates of eating fresh, wholesome food for health and wellness.
